You might also look for gift cards or gift certificates from your friendly neighborhood cigar store.

We recently added gift cards (which can be recharged over and over again) and the response from spouses (and a few guys looking to hide their expenses FROM their spouses) has been fantastic!

A great accessory for cigar smokers is a pocket case that can be carried in a jacket, suit pocket, or purse. They make really nice ones out of leather that typically hold 2 stogies...great for taking one for yourself and one to share!

Since cigars are tough, what about giving a humidor, or a nice cutter?

When giving cigars as a gift, I think it's wise to stick to this tried and true adage: Give what you would like to receive.

That being said, don’t overlook giving stogies that are off the beaten path, like your local shop’s house blend.

Also, if the recipient idolizes a particular cigar smoker (say, Michael Jordan or Mike Ditka), you can’t go wrong buying them their hero’s favorite smoke.
