You are correct that the cafe series lacks the taste of a rich smoke. It was mild and bland. It tasted like paper. However, it was well constructed. I guess I am use to smoking too many bold smokes. I too am not a Macanudo fan but I do like the Hyde Park. It never fails to dissappoint. You may want to give that a try.
