George, thanks for letting me know I'm not the only one who picks up this odd "off-taste" towards the end of the stick. I've enjoyed these sticks as well, but also noticed that same off-taste in the last third or so. I got a deal on a box of 10 a month or so ago at a shop that was closing and have them aging.
