From Te-Amo’s World Selection Series comes the Nicaraguan Blend – a nicely built cigar with a criollo wrapper, a San Andres binder, and a Nicaraguan filler. With hearty flavors of cedar and paper, you won’t find complexity or balance from this five inch by 54 ring gauge stick. In the $2.50 to $4.00 range, I wanted to recommend this robusto, but it gets terribly sour and bitter.
Verdict = Sell.

Here we have what I call a "dressed up pig". If you think you have discovered a premium stick whose price belies what it promises you'll be disappointed. If you buy it as a cut-rate stick that competes with various others at it's price point you'll be more inclined to enjoy it for what it is. It ain't complex. It ain't refined. It has a heavy earthy slightly pungent tobacco taste that while not really a huge offender in itself gets old quick because it has nothing else going on. It's different, it's cheap, and, sadly, it sides closed to what Mexican cigars are than what Nicaraguan cigars are famous for.
