In regards to the comments made by Kevin Koreanthal. It seems to me this commentary was just designed to take a crack at the Democrats. Personally, I strongly appose the taxation and the ban. What has me confused is if Kevin even smokes? “or they might as well choose another nasty habit.” I have never considered my passion for cigars a “nasty habit” Has anyone else made this observation? Maybe Kevin needs to go to http://en.wordpress.com/tag/angry-republicans/ and vent.

These smoking bans offer a wonderful opportunity to point out that the main suspects perpetrating bans and taxes on tobacco users are DEMOCRATS. Sure an occasional Republican jumps on the smoking ban-d wagon but perhaps that is why Mike Huckabee never had a shot at the GOP nomination. Democrats are the true smoke haters and the lengths they will go to use the Nanny State to effect these policies must not be underestimated.

In my opinion, cigar and cigarette smokers had better be paying attention to who is passing the laws that extinguish their freedom to smoke or they might as well choose another nasty habit.
