I’ve gotta say, the best Miami I’ve had was a custom rolled one for some shop (can’t remember which) that had a HUGE, 60 I believe, ring gauge… so I say the bigger the better when it comes to this stick.

As you indicated, the lancero format is geared more towards showing off the flavor profile of the wrapper more than anything else. I usually don’t have the time (I am more of a robusto man) or inclination to smoke any stick just for the sake of the wrapper, but many of my stogie pals are climbing aboard the lancero bandwagon.
