Furious-- We would more than welcome your submission, especially as a Guest Quick Smoke. I haven't tried that particular stick, but it sounds fantastic.

Agree with your assessment Patrick, however, these sticks definitely do get better with a couple of years age on them. I have a number of these from back in '04 when they came out through January '08. The older PR's are just as creamy as the Epi #2 out of the box.

These days I am digging the Upmann Coronas Minor for a short and satisfying cold weather smoke. Flavor profile is nuanced and develops nicely with that classic Upmann musty twang coming through in the middle. If I get a minute, I will submit a guest review.

I used to love this cigar when it came out but after a while you get tired of the same one dimentional character of this cigar. Now I just give it to friends and family and I rather smoke the Epicure Especial which is a nice creamy woodsy quality smoke.

I actually had the two Petit Robustos I smoked for this review in my humi for somewhere between 10 and 12 months.

Just to be clear: I am in no way saying this is a bad cigar. I just don't think it lives up to all the praise, and it may be overpriced.

Patrick how long did you let the petit robustos sit in your humidor? When i first got mine in and let them sit a week in the humidor they were very harsh and abrasive but after 3 months sitting in the humidor they really came into there own and have become one of my favorites. I will have 2 try the Epicure 2 soon since you talk so highly of it.
