i've had one for years and have had some tearing issues but remember unlike a guillotine there's no pressure release gate, you've got manually commit to a quick clean cut and it'll serve you well.

I've had one for about six months. No complaints, durable, works well.

I am conflicted on this product. I have had it for about a month and haven't been completely impressed. I have gotten some good cuts, but most have torn the wrapper or left a little chunk in the center left (Where the three blades meet). However, since it is a scissor I think there is a learning curve on getting good cuts. I feel like my cuts are getting better and better the more I use it.

I'm surprised to see several negative comments about this excellent cutter. I've had great luck with mine for quite some time now. As Patrick says, it's an easy purchase and it works well.

I purchased one of these Revolucion Cigar Scissor Cutter and right now I'm in the process of returning it back to Cuban Crafters and exchanging it for some other cutters that they have in inventory. From day one this cutter has been a lousy cutter, leaving a ragged and pulled cut. My cigars are fine, this cutter just is not measuring up to the hype and rather than take a chance on a replacement I'm going with another style. Cuban Crafters have been very helpful in this process so I can't fault their customer service.

I too found this to be an intriguing novelty and found that for me it was just that. Between my swiss army cutter and my palio I feel like I'm trying to cut my cigar with hedge clippers using this thing. It is cool to have though and I like having tons of cutters.

Interesting. I haven't experienced anything I'd call "loose" or had any problems with tearing tobacco. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, though, Keith.

Unfortunately I'm going to be one dissenting vote. I am on my second one and am still not getting a good cut. The first one was so loose it tore the tobacco. They were really good about sending me a new one but this second one only cuts marginally better. My Xikar MTX does a much better job and is a lot easier to use.

Yeah, I'm definitely satisfied with it. I mean, like Patrick says, it works well and isn't expensive. I don't think it's a necessary appliance, but if you're anal about cuts (as I am) then go for it.
