From my best recollection, the brand was originally sold in Dunhill shops back in the 70's and 80's as a value-priced (and legal) alternative to their more famous habanos that stole so many hearts back in the pre-embargo days. The brand was bought by JR as Dunhill was repackaging itself about ten years ago. I have always wanted to give them a try but never felt that the flavor profile would come close enough to a Cabinetta to give it a go. Maybe I'll pick some up next time I see them.
