Quick Smoke: Tatuaje Petite Cazadores Reserva

19 May 2013

Each Saturday and Sunday we’ll post a Quick Smoke: not quite a full review, just our brief verdict on a single cigar of “buy,” “hold,” or “sell.”

Lately I’ve been really enjoying smaller format smokes, and the Tatuaje Petite Cazadores Reserva has long been one of my favorites of the genre. The 4-inch, 40-ring gauge parejo has an unfinished foot, an deep brown Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, and Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos. It’s full of flavor and complexity with dry chocolate, earth, coffee, pepper, and good balance. Best of all, it’s available for under $4 if you stock up on a whole box.

Verdict = Buy.

    This is my second fav right behind the tiny symphony by PG. Yes, this one is quite affordable in comparison. I also have noticed the 68 is not what it once was… I enjoy the verocu in this size as well.

    Thanks for doing the giveaways. I lobe Tatuaje I have the 7th reserva aging right now and I also am excited to try the mummy I have been aging forever. Most importantly check out the giveaway contest for the 7th year anniversary!
