Quick Smoke: Winston Churchill Lancaster
15 May 2011
Each Saturday and Sunday we’ll post a Quick Smoke: not quite a full review, just our brief verdict on a single cigar of “buy,†“hold,†or “sell.â€

This new size of Davidoff’s Winston Churchill line is a well-constructed belicoso (4.5 x 46) version of the small Spitfire vitola. Medium-bodied and well balanced, the Ecuadorian sun-grown wrapper imparts warm buttery flavors. It’s a tasty smoke with coffee bean, warm tobacco, and oak notes. Selling in tins of four for $23, this cigar a good way to enjoy the Winston Churchill blend in a compact, less time-consuming format.
Verdict = Buy.

Looks like I found a Father's Day gift for myself!
Thanks.
Where can I get my hands on these? I'd love to hear where you guys buy each of your cigars that you review so the readers like me can order them.
Mark-
I received these as pre-release samples so I could smoke them as they hit the market.
That said, you should be able to find these at the Davidoff-certified shops that carry the rest of the Winston Churchill line. They were officially released at the end of April so they should have them now. A quick google search also reveals a few other places that carry the new WC Lancaster.
I'll be looking for them! Thanks guys, great site. Keep up the good work.
cheers
Michael
