Quick Smoke: Cohiba Robusto (Cuban)
15 Mar 2008
Each Saturday and Sunday we’ll post a Quick Smoke: not quite a full review, just our brief take on a single cigar.
One of the six original Cohibas known as the LÃnea Clásica, this four and 7/8 inch by 50 ring gauge Robusto is an admirable smoke with excellent construction. I found pleasant flavors of sweet hay and honey with a touch of spice – not unlike my colleague’s full review. Expect to pay anywhere from $12 to $15, which is a fair price if you’re a lover of mild- to medium-bodied smokes.
Verdict = Buy.

these cigars are definitely the best robusto cigars out there! they are always good…first thing in the morning, afternoon or after a heavy meal (although a maduro 5 would be more fitting for a heavy meal). sweet…pleasant…always good with excellent consistent construction.
I couldn't agree with you more, Patrick. I just had one of these last night with a glass of Makers Mark on the rocks. As Jackie Gleason would say, "How sweet it is!"
Ah, this picture makes me salivate..
